As a mental health therapist, my primary goal is to foster a safe and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. I will collaboratively work with you to build a healing environment. I strive to create an environment and therapeutic relationship that emphasizes trust, genuineness, and mutual respect. This creates a safe space for you to express and explore thoughts, feelings, and past experiences.
I have worked with children, teens and families for five years, where I have been able to pursue my passion in serving and advocating. I have experience ranging from residential treatment to outpatient therapy, working with children with various backgrounds including trauma, behavioral issues, school struggles, divorce, and much more.
My approach is tailored to whom I'm working with, as every client presents with a unique story. I have training in several evidence-based practices, such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
