Nicki Larsen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska and is co-founder of Tree of Hope Therapy Group. She has more than 25 years of experience working with and advocating for children and families impacted by abuse and neglect, grief and loss, divorce, attachment difficulties, foster care and adoption, problematic sexual behaviors, sexual abuse, domestic violence and trauma. She has worked at various non-profit agencies in the Omaha area including Adoption Links Worldwide as a therapist and supervisor of programs including Wendy’s Wonderful Kids and the Adoption Partnership; Lutheran Family Services as an RSAFE therapist and Supervisor of Children’s Services Mental Health; and most recently with Project Harmony as Director of Children’s Services Mental Health. Nicki has been providing mental health therapy for 16 years and has training in a variety of evidenced based practices including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Problematic Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT).
