Lisa Heiden is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, LIMHP and associate with Tree of Hope Therapy Group. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. Lisa has many years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, depression, suicidal ideation and self-harm, grief and loss. Lisa previously provided therapy to children and families through Connections with Project Harmony and with Lutheran Family Services in the RSAFE program. She has spent the last several years in private practice.
Lisa has received specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools(CBITS), Behavioral Therapy for Problematic Sexual Behaviors (PSB-CBT), Biofeedback/ Neurofeedback and Brainspotting. Lisa’s passion is helping children and adults through their journey of healing and overcoming life’s challenges.
