Alma Orellana is a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Nebraska. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, families and individuals overcoming barriers that prevent them from being successful in life. Her specialty is trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, divorce, abuse, neglect, violence, and sexual abuse. She is trained in several evidence-based practices including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengthening Family Program (SFP), Support for Students Exposed to Trauma (SSET) and Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT).
